Project description
The Prefabricated Steel Structure Gymnasium Center is a government project we undertook in Singapore, mainly for post-event sporting events, the commercial building has a total floor area of 8,000 square metres and a total value of $800,000. The interior was built using a large span approach. As a sporting facility, the interior requirements were functional and the stadium, as a landmark, required an overall chic appearance. So we asked our designers to design the stadium building in accordance with the local context, customs and surroundings. The client was surprised when the sketches of the building were produced. The style of the design exceeded the client’s expectations. It was one of our most enjoyable collaborations.
